Our shed kits are not insulated. You may insulate under the floor, or over the roof, or both. We advise against insulating the walls as that would obstruct the wood from expanding and contracting seasonally, causing the gaps to form between the boards. The shed may expand/shrink as much as 2 inches vertically.
Our customers report that with insulated roof and floor, these sheds are comfortable with an electric space heater with temperatures in the 20s. The same applies to all of our garden sheds.
