Can the overhang be changed so that it is over the door?

Yes, the door can be installed under the overhang as well as the windows can sit on any of the 3 walls since all 4 walls are symmetrical. The only difference with the door under the overhang, is that the 2° roof slope will go from side to side instead of front to back. The slope is covered by the crown at the top, so it's virtually invisible when looking for the outside.
