Our shed kits are not insulated. You may insulate under the floor, or over the roof, or both. We advise against insulating the walls as that would obstruct the wood from expanding and retracting seasonally, causing the gaps to form between the boards. The shed may expand/shrink as much as 2 inches vertically. Here is more on shed insulation.
Our customers report that with insulated roof and floor, these sheds are comfortable with an electric space heater with temperatures in the low 40s. The same applies to all of our garden sheds and modern sheds.
Electrical is not pre-set in this (or any of our sheds) as counties and towns around the country have different requirements for such installation. It most certainly can be done, however, it should be done following local building code.
Regarding the electrical installation, read this short how-to post at https://solidbuildwood.com/how-to-run...
The best way to find out what the requirements are in your area is to call your local building department.
