I'd like to put the door under the canopy. Can the roof be installed to slant the other way, high on the left side?

Yes, the door can be installed under the overhang as well as the windows can sit on any of the 3 walls since all 4 walls are symmetrical. The only difference with the door under the overhang is that the 2° roof slope will go from side to side instead of front to back - the slope goes along the 10ft wall. The slope is covered by the crown at the top, so it's virtually invisible when looking for the outside.
