You may install any after-market windows or other elements, as long as they replicate the floating installation style and do not get fixed to the walls, allowing the structure to contract and expand vertically. To maintain the building's structural integrity, any window or other element should be installed no closer than 12" away from any corner and leaving at least 7" of wall space between any two elements (such as between door and window frame).
