We've seen that done for the Solana shed, with the overhang enclosed for a bathroom space. Though the risk here is that when the wood contracts, and expands, the height of the enclosure may restrict the structure from falling into place. Ideally, the walls under the overhang would be free-standing and about 2" lower than the roof, so the structure has room to expand and contract independent of the enclosure. That is especially true in hot and sunny climates.
Regarding connecting two sheds together, unfortunately, that is not possible, though we've seen some nice setups where larger shed, like Bristhol, and smaller shed, like Optima 8, have been put side by side, or back to back to create a mini hut compound.
