Can the exterior corners be trimmed?

Can the rounded ends on each exterior corner be ordered or cut to a square shape? I really like all features except for the corners. They remind me of a child's building blocks or lincoln logs.

Technically, you may trim them by about an inch to make the straight edge, but they serve a practical purpose! If you need to pull out the board you already installed, or some board needs help when settling, you'd be using a mallet to pound on the angled corner parts to move the board up or down.
