Will insulating the shed help keep it cool in the summer? I live in an area where temps in the summer can exceed 110
Myrtle 10 x 10 garden shed | 80 sq ft
With only insulating the floors and ceiling, could this shed still be comfortable for a home office in a hot desert environment? Temperatures here exceed 110 in the summertime. I would be adding an AC unit but I would be concerned about how energy efficient it would be with insulation only covering the floors and walls.

Customers report the shed is comfortable to use with the roof and floor insulated in the higher temperatures. Usually, even the smallest AC units are designed for larger spaces, thus they are more powerful than needed. We have not heard any complaints in this regard, though cannot guarantee your comfort level or specific energy efficiency.
