Is there space for insulating the wall?

Colorado gets quite cold. Walls need some insulation. - is there space to add insulation other than roof and floor?

The walls are made of solid wood boards, there is no cavity for insulation. Due to the type of tongue and groove, log home like construction, the wood has to be able to expand and contract, thus adding insulation to the walls is not advisable to allow for that seasonal movement.
