I would like to use the concrete slab as the floor for the shed. Is it possible or must I use joists and plywood?

Planning to build on a concrete slab foundation and would just like to have that be the floor instead of using joists and additional flooring on top of the foundation. Is that possible with this kit?

Yes, you can use concrete slab as flooring, however, that does not mean that you can commit floor joists whatsoever. Instead of laying them down laterally, you'd have to form a square frame under the perimeter of the walls to create a barrier between natural wood and the slab. You'd use only 4 joists instead of the 7 supplied. We're happy to walk you through in more detail as you're preparing for the assembly.
