Our shed kits are not insulated. You may insulate under the floor, over the roof, or both. We advise against insulating the walls, as that would obstruct the wood from expanding and retracting seasonally, causing gaps to form between the boards. The shed may expand/shrink as much as 2 inches vertically.
Our customers report that, with an insulated roof and floor, these sheds are comfortable with an electric space heater in temperatures in the 40s. The same applies to all of our garden sheds.
