Our shed kits are not insulated. You may insulate under the floor, or over the roof, or both. We advise against insulating the walls as that would obstruct the wood from expanding and retracting seasonally, causing the gaps to form between the boards. The shed may expand/shrink as much as 2 inches vertically. Here is more on shed insulation.
Our customers report that with an insulated roof and floor, these sheds are comfortable with an electric space heater with outside temperatures in the 20s. The same applies to all of our garden sheds and modern sheds.
