Our shed kits are not insulated. You may insulate under the floor, or over the roof, or both. We advise against insulating the walls, as this would prevent the wood from expanding and contracting seasonally, causing gaps to form between the boards. The shed may expand/shrink by up to 2 inches vertically. Here is more on shed insulation.
Our customers report that with an insulated roof and floor, these sheds are comfortable with an electric space heater with temperatures in the 20s. The same applies to all of our garden sheds and modern sheds.
