Can this window unit be installed horizonally?

I would like to install this on the back wall of the Bristol model.

From the technical perspective, it could be installed horizontally, however, the window would not be operable as the opening mechanism is designed to function in the vertical position. The surrounding trim should also be trimmed to even it out.
