Solid wood walls naturally expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity, so they are designed to remain free to move rather than being insulated like conventional framed walls. For this reason, we recommend insulating the roof and floor, which can be done during assembly. We do not supply the insulation materials. Depending on your climate, paired with a heater or mini-split, this setup works well for many customers looking to use their shed year-round.
